Country Coordinator: Lydia Bush
In 1994 the Order was introduced to Cuba under the auspices of the Bishop's wife, Mrs. Perreira, who had met Daughters outside Cuba. Linda Zaleski, David and Ginny Bushnell, and Patricia Harper were able to visit and work with women in at least four Cuban churches who wanted to become Daughters. It is still difficult to communicate with chapters there, but in 2006 five new chapters were instituted.
Revival of the Order in Cuba!
Two Daughters from the Charismata Chapter at St. Luke's, Live Oak, FL traveled with members of their parish to their sister parish, Fieles a Jesus, in Matansas, Cuba. The mission trip was to help in reconstructing rooms in the 100 plus year old building so that some of the homeless parishioners will have shelter and food. A Daughters of the King® chapter was instituted in May 2014 with four Daughters admitted.

The picture is of the Cuba chapter's Prayer Partner, Charismata Chapter at St. Luke's, Live Oak, Florida praying for their sister chapter. The President of a nearby chapter from St. James joined with them.
A New Chapter Forming
The picture is of ten ladies from Fieles a Jesus who are listening to Lydia, Ann, and Deacon Phyllis (St. Luke's chapter chaplain) describe the Order. Please pray for these women who are discerning the Lord's call to begin a chapter in their church. The chapter was instituted in May 2014 with four Daughters admitted. The six additional Daughters who were part of the original study were admitted to Fieles a Jesús Chapter in November 2014.
